Beta requests

Optional wearable answers help us prioritise future integrations. They do not connect a device or grant access to its data.

When you request beta access, VOXX saves your email and the optional name, running experience, country and wearable details you provide. We also record the request time and source so we can manage invitations and respond to you. Repeated requests use the same applicant record. This does not create an app account or subscribe you to marketing.

The database is hosted by Supabase in Europe. Only the authorized VOXX owner can access the dashboard. We keep these records while managing beta access; you can ask us to correct or remove your request by emailing info@voxx.run.

We send a request confirmation and TestFlight instructions to your email through Zoho Mail. This is a transactional reply, not a marketing subscription. Delivery status and retry attempts are recorded alongside your request. An inbox notification is delivered through FormSubmit to info@voxx.run. FormSubmit retains submissions for 30 days. Your request stays saved even if that notification fails.

If your beta request is approved, we share your email address and optional first name with Apple to add you to the VOXX TestFlight group. Apple sends your invitation and provides installation access. We record the approval time, build offered and group-enrollment result. These records do not confirm that you opened the email or installed the app.

Your runner guide

After reviewing your beta application, the VOXX owner may email a personal link to the runner guide. It is not sent automatically. The link expires after 90 days. We record when the email is accepted by our mail provider and when the download button requests the PDF, including the first and latest request and a count. Opening the email link alone does not count. This does not prove that the PDF was saved or read. We do not track email opens. Forwarding the link attributes its download requests to the original application. Delivery and download records are retained for up to one year, or removed when the application is deleted. The PDF is held in private storage.

Optional beta usage and feedback

In the app, you can choose to share limited beta usage to help us understand when you have enough experience to give feedback. This choice is off by default and separate from health connections and online AI sharing. It records app visits, features used, app version, approximate on-screen time, guided-session time, first observed use and recent activity. It does not include health measurements, routes, location coordinates, coaching conversations or workout notes.

Usage is connected to your beta application using your confirmed app email. If you use a different invitation email, you can verify it with a short-lived code. We do not identify you by matching names. Turning sharing off stops collection and removes unsent local events immediately; stored usage details are removed when the app can confirm your change with the server. Your application link and feedback you separately submitted remain. Raw usage events expire after 90 days. Your first observed use is retained while sharing stays on. Apple may separately provide TestFlight invitation or installation status and usage counts; those are labelled separately.

The VOXX owner can choose to send a short feedback request from info@voxx.run through Zoho Mail. It is optional. Your personal link lasts 30 days and connects your answers to your beta application. Progress is saved when you continue, and the owner sees your individual answers after final submission. Feedback and its request record are kept for up to one year. Email opens are not tracked, and opening an email link does not submit an answer. Please do not include medical or sensitive information in comments. Reply to the email or contact info@voxx.run to stop further feedback requests or request deletion.

Understanding website traffic

We measure page loads, beta-button clicks, form starts and plays of the coach sample or app tour. We record page categories, referral domains, campaign labels, broad device/browser categories and approximate country if the network supplies it. We do not put your form answers into analytics.

These measurements use no advertising cookies or permanent browser identifiers. To estimate daily visitors and limit abuse, the server briefly processes the network address and browser description to create a keyed, changing identifier. Raw network addresses and full browser descriptions are not saved in the analytics database. Different days cannot be linked using the daily visitor identifier. Analytics events are retained for 90 days. Hosting and security providers may process technical request logs under their own policies.

Analytics respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can also block analytics requests using your browser’s privacy controls; the beta form remains available. Admin pages are excluded from analytics.
