At a glance
Check the place and time you intend to run. Review any adjustment before accepting it.
Find it in VOXXToday’s session → Weather & adjustments
Hot weather, strong wind or a change in plans can make the original session less practical. Weather & adjustments puts those choices beside the session, where they belong. You can understand the forecast and decide on a suitable option without rebuilding your whole training plan.
Step by step
Choose the place and running time
Use current location or search for a place. Forecasts use an approximate location sent through VOXX to MET Norway. If location is unavailable, place search offers another way to check.
Read the forecast context
Look at the conditions and the available choices. Depending on your session and recovery state, these may include keeping the session, running shorter and easier, going indoors or resting. A different time may be offered when the forecast supports it.
Preview your choice
Compare the original and proposed session. The total still includes warm-up and cool-down. Accept session choice saves the change for today; your goal and future weeks stay as planned.
Return to your session
Start from the saved version. If you are still running outside, choose a route again because the previous route may no longer fit. An indoor choice removes outdoor route preparation from that session.
No forecast does not mean no options
A service or network problem can leave forecast data unavailable. You can still use the eligible local adjustment options based on what you observe. Missing weather should stay unknown rather than being presented as comfortable conditions.
Use local judgement too
These are practical planning choices, not an emergency-warning service or a calculation of your personal heat tolerance. Conditions can change after the forecast. Your symptoms, professional restrictions and current surroundings take priority, and the app does not use weather to override a training hold.
